I am a single parent of 2, a son who is 22 and a daughter who is 13. I have lived in Waco my whole life. I
graduated from TSTC(Texas State Technical College) in August 2007 with an
Associates of Applied Sciences(AAS) in Web-Design.
The reason that I chose this particular field is that I love to do things on computers. Since I have 2 kids, I needed a career where I could earn a good living and still be able to spend time with my kids. My son is going to start college in January and my daughter attends a Private Christian School in our area. The more that I looked at the jobs out there for single parents there were not any that paid enough, so I decided to go into Web-design, this way I can spend time with my kids and still have a good paying job. In the Web field I can work from home and be there for my kids.
